On Wound Licking

I think I'm becoming a dog person

This beautiful half aussie shepherd half toy poodle is really really winning me over 

He actually kinda looks like this, and currently is on constant watch to make sure he doesn't lick off the stitches on his paw 

He actually does have a bunch of people watching him to make sure he doesn't just sit and stare at his wounds long enough so do something stupid, like lick off the stitches 

He actually makes this exact face when you catch him licking his paw 

I gotta stop staring at my own wounds 

I don't want to do something stupid and lick off the stitches that I so painstakingly put in all year

I gotta go chase a squirrel or put someone's garden slipper in my mouth and run around the backyard to alleviate my anxiety
