orange you glad it's finally orange season?

Fall is unequivocally the best season of them all. In addition to ushering in my birthday, it's also an opportunity to start again, look at life with new eyes, a renewed fervor, a chance to begin again

Even though it's very cliche, every fall I do actually stock my apartment with sweet potatoes and cans of pumpkin puree

I wore a fuzzy pink sweater today, saw The Wild Robot (which left me a crying mess in a packed theater) and I also baked pumpkin muffins 

I'm a pretty terrible baker BUT I like to think that I could be some sort of mistress of spices and I enjoy layering them in a very intentional way 

I make this tea when the weather starts to change, and it's so very soothing and lovely 🌹 

First you boil some cardamom, nutmeg, crushed cloves and dried roses in some undefined amount of water and then plop in 4/5 bags of Twinings Peach&Orange tea 

And then you pour it over some ice, with a dash of oatmilk if life has really been harsh to you 

And it's quite nice actually
