patience continues to be a virtue

When you stop looking they say, that's when you'll find it

And I feel like I've been nearsighted for so long that I've never stopped looking 

Maybe it's time to just trust that life will take me where I'm supposed to go 

That I'll float until I'm unstuck in time

Like a poignant Kurt Vonnegut novel 

And that it'll all fall into place 

It's not as scary as it seems maybe 

Maybe I have to just stop and stare 

And it'll come to me from the peripherie
