my parents came to visit last week for thanksgiving and I felt like the worst daughter on the planet because all I did was complain about the frustrating realities of grant review and how my biostats professor spends his free time plotting ways to ensure I fail
we were driving somewhere in my dad's fancy car that comes with a GPS, and mid-route we get a call from my sister that she's waiting at the airport so we have to go pick her up. but the GPS in his car doesn't let you change routes while the car is moving. In fact, to enhance driver safety, the car doesn't let you do a lot of things, like connect your cellphone via Bluetooth or scream involuntarily, while the car is in motion. but because I like to break rules, I screamed anyways.
I think a lot about that. I find it so hard to transition from one insurmountable assignment to another. im a pathologically serial processor. if these things have deadlines just two days later from this other thing, those first two things just FLY OUT THE WINDOW LONG HAIR DONT CARE
so now im in a pickle, because im failing biostats
