So so sorry for not updating for over ten days!
I've been sick, my camera's been dead, but I will make up for all of that with this post.
Let's start with Day 32, March 24th, 2011: The first day of the Mu Alpha Theta Convention!
My favorite contest was the poster contest.
Basically Bianca, Anna and I entered a ballroom in the Crowne Plaza with a bunch of other teams from other schools.
We are then given 45 minutes and a white posterboard to design based on a predetemined theme.
This year's theme was :
DISNEY! Ofcourse we had learned that the night before, when our teacher opened up our registration packet, so Bianca and I forced Anna to wear her green Mickey Mouse shirt.
So 45 minutes later we came up with this:

There were a couple of mathematical errors, like the lack of a negative sign in front of the quadratic formula, but hey, we still won SECOND place!
And speaking of winning, last week (while I was dying of sickness) the Indian Cricket Team first beat Pakistan in the International Cricket Council World Cup quarter finals on Thursday, and then beat Sri Lanka in the finals on Saturday, TAKING HOME THE WORLD CUP!
Technically they weren't taking it anywhere, since the finals were held in the Wankade Stadium in Mumbai.
I baked brownies in celebration of our victory over Pakistan. The leftovers were consumed on the day of our final, inevitable victory.

Yesterday our entire NOLA Bhangra team performed for the first time on the TUlane University stage, for the annual Tulane Masala Event!
Sorry sorry; I didn't take any pictures, but no worries! We're performing again in about two weeks, and trust me, my camera will go crazy that day.
And now finally coming to TODAY Day 43 ( hooray for concise weekly summaries!): the start of our Junior Ring Week!
Today was MONSTER MONDAY. I was the Cookie Monster!!!
I didn't get a chance to take a picture of myself in my uniform, but hey better late than never right? I took a picture just a couple of minutes ago wearing the headband and holding the cloth/construction paper cookie I made last night to tape onto my uniform shirt.
Thank goodness for leftover felt and needles.
ME WANT COOKIE...ME WANT SLEEEEEP!
Love you all,
ShreyaReyaahBabayaaa
